Stirling Moss at Goodwood

September 1998 saw the re-opening of the famous Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit near Chichester, Sussex. It was a fantastic day for motor racing fans, one of the highlights being the return of Stirling Moss (pictured here) to the track where he had a near-fatal accident in the 1962. This meeting is now established as an annual event at Goodwood.
The Goodwood countryside is now the home of BMW's Rolls-Royce factory. Sir Henry Royce lived in nearby West Wittering.
